The Easter Egg Hunt was well attended by local children and their parents. Colin Evans organised the clues and awarded the eggs to all those who got all the answers correct.
Hope to see even more local people at our next event on Saturday 12th July!

Activity Day Sat 8th February
Despite yet another bad weather forecast, members of Friends of MLG committee and a number of local residents and families turned out on a breezy morning last Saturday.
Colin Evans conducted a bird box building masterclass. Others set about cleaning the mosaic sundial, sweeping leaves to fill the newly installed composters and cleaned benches as well as creating habitat piles from fallen branches.
We hope to be holding similar events in the coming months, so keep checking the website for more news!

Plans withdrawn!!
Dear Friends, The plans (ref no. 097419) have been WITHDRAWN. It is understood that the applicant no longer wishes to proceed with these present plans for the proposed flat-roofed large eco house and mews garage. I would like to sincerely thank you all for your letters of objection regarding this application. However, as I understand it, the applicant may wish to reapply with a new set of plans, and I ask you all to watch this space so that should we be required to voice objection once more, we may be ready to do so. Although the applicant has recently gained renewals for the previous 2009 consent, he has stated he has no intention to 'remodel' or significantly extend the Lodge. The renewals are for 12 months ONLY with significant conditions attached. Thank you again for your time & effort, Jinny Shaw Friends of Marie Louise Gardens | ||||||
